This little gal is feminine and very calm, she's long legged and taller than I expected. Born with a brindle nose and brindle markings on her forehead I think she's going to pack a bunch of color as she matures. If she matures like other Battle Star heifers my folks and I will have a winner on our hands.

Wow I wish he was a heifer. My fourth bull calf in a row, but he could be something special. His grandsires are LCR Torreon and Boomerang CP and his dam is a BIG bodied dun cow who outproduces herself each and every time. He's a big boy and outweighs any of the other '07 calves, even those older than he.

Oh what a calf... She broke my four bull calf streak, was born on my parents' anniversary and is drop dead gorgeous even at just a few days. This little gal is the only heifer I will have from last year's clean-up bull Hail Caesar (hence her being named after a Caesar's Palace bar). She's developing the Gator head that some of the Emperor lineage get with very pronounced eye socket bones- from the side she's a doe-eyed calf but from the front you can see she's got lots of structure. Can't wait to watch this one grow.

It's a girl. This little gal was born with her tail wagging, a brindle nose and a personality that's bigger than Texas. Her dam has amazing total horn and with the Phenomenon influence of her young sire I think she has tons of potential. I think she's a keeper even at two weeks old!

This cheeky little guy starting visiting the neighbors' herd at about three weeks. He's fearless and built like a tank. With those attributes we figured an early steering was best, and we'll watch him to see if he fills out like we think he will- my first show-quality animal. Rowdy is just one of those names that fits perfectly.
