Lucky 7 Longhorns

This ’00 cow will never win a beauty contest but her daughters will. She is tall, long, thick horned (11" bases), a gorgeous light dun and sports a bonier butt than a supermodel. Bred to thick bulls she has produced BIG stunning daughters by Liberator’s Leprachaun (’04 and ’05) and Keyman (’06) and an AI son to Five Star ('07). Kahfee is bred to Luxor for a November '08 calf. Horns measured 3/29/08.

Beauty and brains- this ‘02 cow produces the most gorgeous calves. Her upswept horns have great curves that we tried to flatten out breeding her to Mountain Man- she had a gorgeous brindle bull calf on 1/30/08. Her ’05 heifer L7 Stardust is showing immense horn potential, perfect temperament and exact duplicate solid frame and strong top line of her dam. Shadow will be AIed this spring to the awesome Maximus to add base and TTT potential to her next calf. Horns measured 3/29/08.

This is my first foundation longhorn and one that I will keep for awhile. Her color (walnut black and white lineback), configuration and tightly-twisting horns make her easy to look at in the pasture. Her ’06 heifer L7 Seven of Clubs (AI), by King of Clubs was born with horn bud showing and is a rock solid heifer, her '07 bull calf is built like a tank. She's bred to the amazing PPF Gun Maker for a late '08 calf. Horns measured 3/29/08.

This young cow has thrown a brindle calf every time... She's still putting on impressive horn and comes from two of the most impressive programs around- Chanceys and McCombs. Polly had a gorgeous heifer calf by Battle Star on 4/10/2008. Polly is also the first cow owned by the L2 Partnership- I'm lucky to have the best co-owners on the planet- my parents Hal & Sandi Lowe.
