Heifers
L7 Stardust -- 'Dusty' |

From the day she was born Dusty has been my pet. It’s a blend of wishful thinking and lots of research that makes me so excited about this heifer. Her sire Stars A’Mighty is by Emperor out of the amazing cow Me Oh My Style; Dusty’s horns are heading straight out flat and have started to twist, with any luck at all, like her grand dam’s. She also has the Emperor ‘eyebrows’ that are seen on many of his daughters, so I think she has a heavy dose of what he passes on. She's heavy bred to Luxor for a late Spring calf. Horns measured 3/29/08.

BZR Southern Girl -- 'Neva Jo' |

This heifer’s brindle roan coloration caught my eye the first time I saw her… Every month she adds more brown/black brindle spots and her horns have just started to come on strong. She’s the mellowest animal in the pasture and has a pedigree that I think will ‘pop’ with the modern, flat-polled, mega horned bulls. She has an absolutely gorgeous heifer calf by CWR Hail Caesar that has great promise for horn and configuration. She's in the AI queue. Horns measured 3/29/08.

L7 Bellagio -- 'Bella' |

Take a look at what PPF Gunmaker can produce... This spring of ’06 heifer was born with a dark brown/black brindle coat and eventually turned walnut black at about a year. Even though she has black horn, she’s quickly putting on base (11') and tip-to-tip measurement and is maturing into a stunning young heifer. She's bred to our herd sire Luxor for a calf that's sure to have lots of color and lots of horn. She'll be AIed to Unlimited next. Horns measured 3/29/08.

L7 Seven of Clubs-- 'Daisy' |

Daisy, as named by my beautiful niece Miranda, has turned out to be an almost-as-beautiful addition to the herd. Hand tamed and adding more color every day, this heifer will be bred to our clean-up herd sire for 2008 L2 Flim Flam Man- for a guaranteed colorful calf. With bronze horns Daisy is going to be a steady-as-she-goes horn grower, and I expect great things out of this animal. She's AIed to the great Overhead for a November calf.

BH Sugar Sweet -- 'Sugar' |

We purchased Sugar at the Lazy L Longhorn auction this spring, and boy have we been impressed with her horn and size gain in the short time we've owned her. Sired by the amazing Dark Star Chex and out of Sweet Anna a big Not Gunna daughter, this heifer shows the size and fertility that any program would value. She's has a stubborn streak and won't back down to the big girls in the pasture, and has tipped both horns. This doesn't affect her overall potential and I like her pluck! This heifer is one to watch... Horns measured 3/29/08.
